The day of the July 12,2006, was a milestone in the history of Nanjing Turbine & Electric Machinery (Group) CO., LTD. The history of company should bear the date in mind forever, because the first MS9001E gas turbine made in China had been completed and shipped on that day.

It was a bright and sunny day on July 12, the people of company give leaders and honored guests for all levels a warm welcome, with color flags lining both sides of the street and fresh flowers flourishing. On that day, excitement and gladness were found everywhere in the whole company. MS9001E gas turbine laid on the platform truck, which was like a “bride” being about to get married, attracted many people to take photos with it， in the actual locale of gas turbine for the celebration ceremony.

10:08 am, celebration for completion and shipping of the first MS9001E gas turbine made in China began formally. Some leaders took their seats in the chair-platform, including Li Quanlin, Deputy-governor of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government; Li Zhi, Director of National Development and Reformation Committee, Lu Yansun; Primary Deputy-Minister of Machine Building Ministry; Chen Jiabao, Standing Deputy-Mayor of Nanjing People’s Government Standing Committee, James Suciu, Global Sales President of GE Energy; Wang Shuqiang, Head of National Development and Reformation Committee; Jack Wen, President of GE Energy China; Pan Zongjian, Chairman of the Board of the Group Corporation; Shen Qun, General Manager of the Group Corporation; Zheng Fangneng, Head of National Science and Technology Ministry’s High and New Energy Sources Traffic Department; Zhang Zhonghua, Deputy-Pressdent of Parent Company of China Technology Imports and Exports; Fan Haihong, Deputy-Director of Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reformation Committee, Gu Yufang, Deputy-director of Jiangsu Economy and Commerce Committee; Li Qi, Deputy-Chief of Jiangsu Science and Technology Department; Huang Lan, Director of Nanjing Development and Reformation Committee; Wang Haiming, General Manager of Subsidiary Company for Fire and Electric Power Construction of Water and Electricity Development Co.Ltd, above reaches of Huanghe River; Huang Min, Chief of Nanjing Science and Technology Bureau and Liu Jian, Director of Nanjing Economy Committee. The honored guests, delegates of company employees and journalists all levels about 300 persons attending in celebration ceremony.

The celebration ceremony was presided over by Ma Chunlin, Secretary of Group Company CCP Committee. On the ceremony, Shen Qun, delegated the Group Company and James Suciu delegated GE Energy, addressed a meeting respectively; Chen Jiabao, delegated the Government of Nanjing, Lu Yansun, delegated the League of Machine Building, Li Zhi, delegated National Development and Reformation Committee, and Li Quanlin delegated the Government of Jiangsu Province, expressed celebration respectively.

10:38 am, Deputy-Governor – Mr. Li Quanlin, Director – Mr. Li Zhi, Primary Deputy-Minister – Mr. Lu Yansun, Standing deputy-Mayor – Mr, Chen Jiabao, General Manager – Mr. Wang Haimin, Global Sales President - Mr. Suciu, Deputy-President – Mr. Zhang Zhonghua, Chief – Mr. Wang Shuqiang, and Board Chairman – Mr. Pan Zongjian cut the ribbon at an opening ceremony for completion and shipping of the first MS9001E gas turbine made in China. And then, in an atmosphere of spewing-fireworks and storm-applause, the big platform truck loading MS9001E gas turbine, went across the chair-platform slowly along with bright music, the whole audience gazed at it up to that platform bearing off the actual locale. The historical moment was excited. The historical scene should be engraved on the milestone for progress of our company.
