In-depth Study and Practice Activities of Scientific Outlook on Development

According to the unified arrangement of city Electromechanical Industry Group’s “Notion on organizing and implementing the second group activities of in-depth study and practice of scientific outlook on development”, the activities of in-depth study and practice of scientific outlook on development in our company began from October 2009. And by February 2010, it will be basically completed. On the afternoon of November 3, Group Company’s party committee held a mobilization meeting for the activities, with attendance of main leaders from all companies’ party and government administration. In the meeting, Party Secretary Ma Chunning had set forth requirements for the activities in line with the reality of enterprise.

Currently, the enterprise is in a crucial stage, the ending season of "Eleventh Five-year" strategic development, as well as the opening season of “twelfth Five-year” strategic development, which is facing both rare opportunities for development and unprecedented difficulties and challenges. Under the adverse impacts of international financial crisis, the pressure of enterprise economy operation becomes greater, and the difficulty of economic growth becomes even more prominent. In such a stiff situation, carrying out the study and practice activities solidly shows more special significance, and becomes more urgent.

Party Secretary Ma Chunning brought forward three opinions on how to carry out these activities well.  Firstly, ensure the study and practice activities will be carried out into practice by raising cognitive level; Secondly, ensure the activities will achieve effectiveness by centering on development theme; Thirdly, ensure the activities will go forward well by controlling the key steps. In the last, Secretary Ma said that today’s mobilization meeting marks the formal beginning of company's in-depth study and practice activities. We must perform well from the beginning of activities, ensuring the activities to be effective to continuously push forward the sustainable economic development of enterprise.
