The Goal of Grade A Safety Quality Reached
The assessment group of China Machinery Industry Safety Quality Standardization announced at 4 p.m., July 10 that Nanjing Turbine & Electric Machinery Co., Ltd. has met the standards of Grade A safety quality enterprises in the examination and the review. It means our company has reached the goal of becoming Grade A safety quality enterprise in the nation’s machinery manufacture industry.
In 2005, our company was rated as Grade B enterprise according to the State’s safety quality standards for machinery manufacturers. On this basis, at the beginning of this year the company set the goal of becoming a Grade A enterprise. Great efforts have been made for the goal throughout the company. From May 13 to 15, the safety quality assessment group of China Association of Machinery Industry Safety and Health made a preliminary assessment of and gave advice on our company’s safety work. In consideration of the improvements to be done suggested by the group, all relevant units further studied the standards, specified the responsibilities, focused on thorough correction, and achieved significant improvement.
Between July 7 and 10, the group came again to carry out formal assessment. After 4 days’ work, experts of the group affirmed that our company has followed all the procedures specified in the Assessment and Rating Standards of Safety Quality of Machinery Manufacturers and Methods of Assessment and Rating and the final assessment score was 954 points, which met the standards of Grade A enterprise safety quality.
